2012 ALMS

2012 Petit Le Mans Spotter Guide

The final round of the 2012 American Le Mans Series takes place this weekend at Road Atlanta. (Updated Thursday 18th Oct with Rocket Red Flashes on the Nissan Delta Wing!)

With the works LMP1’s absent, this is sure to default to a 10hour race rather than the 1000 miles. Interesting entry list this year with guest entries from the European Le Mans Series and the competition debut of the Nissan Delta Wing, run this weekend by Highcroft Racing. With these extra entries and 126 drivers, you will need this Petit Le Mans Spotter Guide!

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the ALMS guide this year, if you are a racefan, corner worker, official or ALMS/ESPN commentators. Many thanks for your continued support. We will be back next year, hopefully with more guides if we can find sponsorship (hint hint).

I wanted to express a huge thanks to the ALMS and virtually every team who have helped with this guide, helping to make the guide such a fan success.  I would like to pay special thanks to Marcel ten Caat and Graham Goodwin of DailySportsCar.com and Ryan Smith and Taylor Carson of the ALMS, The ‘Voice of Endurance Racing’, John Hindhaugh and ESPN who also use these car graphics during their coverage.

I would also like to thank Martin Spetz for getting reference imagery to me during testing earlier this week.

Thanks also go to our partners this year, RadioLeMans.com, DailySportsCar.com Fourtitude.com , Oneighturbo.com, Ten-Tenths, SPEED.com, l’endurance and the American Le Mans Series who publish the guide on the website as their Official Guide.

If you intend linking to the guides then please respect the efforts of Andy and Spotter Guides and link to this page not directly to the guides (as these can be updated). Please do not modify the guide in any way.

Thanks for your support.
