The NISMO Spotter Guide series returns for 2015 in April with expanded coverage starting from Silverstone. Following a very successful 2014, the World Endurance Championship Spotter Guide will be joined by  the European Le Mans Series Spotter Guide for each of the five rounds.

2015 IMSA Spotter Guides!

I am excited to announce I will be working with IMSA again in 2015 creating the art for the official IMSA Spotter Guides.

Starting with the Rolex 24, IMSA will print a ‘Race Viewing Guide’ booklet available at the circuit as per 2014.

Online, we will be reverting back to the traditional 11×17 Poster Style Guide for you to download which should make things easier! The online guide will be released on 19th or 20th January and will be updated during the week as new drivers are announced.

2015 Racing Wall Planner update

Due to my main line of design work (see here!), the 2015 Racing Wall planner will now be launched after the Rolex 24, probably in early February. As I write this, there are a couple of championships which have not confirmed dates.

You will be able to download the guide here, but you will also have the opportunity to purchase a professionally printed version of the guide. I always get requests to sell the Spotter Guides, but thats not normally an option due to licensing as I want to do everything above the board as many teams and series are also my clients today, or in the future.

Thanks for your patience!

Scion Tuner Challenge Winner

It has been a crazy week at SEMA for me this year with various meetings and launches of various cars, but one of the main highlights was Speedhunters ‘Maximum Attack’ Scion FR-S winning the 2014 Scion Tuner Challenge earlier this week.

Hot rod car builder, Keith Charvonia of Charvonia Design, created an amazingly detailed build to an exceptionally high standard, with our reference to the old 70’s and 80’s IMSA heritage and a reason for everything on the car we managed to take the win narrowly from SuperStreet, who had previously won the Fan Vote.

Vote in the Scion Tuner Challenge

A Break in normal Spotter Guide service……

I was fortunate to be approached to work with car builder Keith Charvonia on the build of a special Scion FR-S for the 2104 Scion Tuner Challenge which is shown at SEMA. The Maximum Attack Scion FR-S by Speedhunters, has now been released to the public and a Fan Vote is now underway.

We created a special track day racer inspired by the early days of my client, IMSA, and the introduction of Japanese manufactures to American racing including the legendary TRD Celica by Dan Gurney’s All American Racers. You can read more about the design process HERE.

A Build post or two will also be published on Speedhunters in the near future. Full tech specs below.

But for now, its time to vote. Head over to the Scion Tuner Challenge page and choose the build you like the best, hopefully it might be the Speedhunters entry in the iconic TRD livery. You dont need to register or set anything up, it will take 5 seconds.  Voting ends Tuesday, 11:59pm
